Styled maternity photography - Learning, evolving and growing
I believe with anything you choose to do in your life, if you're passionate about it, you will go far and do it well. I often say I never feel like I’m going to work, I really love my job. Newborns are my first love and I adore everything about these sessions, the styling, the new parent chats and of course the baby cuddles - And then I went and did the most AMAZING Maternity workshop with the one and only Natasha Ince….(Quite possibly the best Maternity photographer in the world)
I’d seen Natasha’s work about 2 years ago and I instantly saw she was incredibly talented, I wish I have known about her when I was pregnant with my last baby (Sat here debating a third child just for a shoot with her) Jokes aside I knew she was someone I wanted to learn from and when I saw she did workshops it was a no brainer to book. If you're reading this and you want to learn more about Maternity, seriously just book with her she’s not only incredibly knowledgeable and talented, she the nicest and most fun person.
So after almost a year since the workshop I finally got a model call to try some new dresses and poses with. I have done quite a few Maternity sessions but really wanted to push myself. The beautiful Laura is one of my brides from a few years ago, and the minute she got in touch about booking a newborn session I knew she would be the right choice - And thankfully she agreed. We had lots of fun, a massive thanks to her Husband Tony for helping wave my fabrics and to their extremely cute little man Oscar who after some bribery helped create some beautiful ‘big brother to be’ shots.
My final thanks is to Natasha for being so inspiring, informative and for sharing all her wonderful experience and knowledge, I can only dream of ever being her standard one day…x
