When we first choose to do Maternity photoshoots, theres so many styles to choose from. By organising a studio Maternity closet you can provide your clients with that added service, and it also helps keep your images all within your set style. To keep costs to a minimum you may want to start with asking clients to bring underwear, you can purchase smaller items like crop tops, maternity bodysuits & light weight robes which you can get from normal online clothes suppliers. I use quite a few from Asos , Boo hoo and Zara.

Being a newborn and first year photographer is wonderful. Working with all the new parents and their newest family members is amazing. However once we’ve shot that last cake smash, and your little one’s are still growing what then?

As a mum I am always in awe of how quick they grow and change, and it’s so important to capture these moments. Not only this but as parents we are very rarely in photographs with our children (unless it’s mum taking photos of dad/kids) So from today I am launching these brand new mini sessions. All the planning that goes into prepping for hospital takes time, I remember being a first time ‘nearly’ new mum and feeling that packing the hospital bag was a mission. Ensuring I had everything for the baby and for me. Something I didn’t plan for was making sure I captured all those moments leading up to my baby’s arrival. Those moments are part of the journey and part of ‘their’ story. To take the hassle out of remembering it all I have created a list of all the photos I feel are ones you will look back and love.
