All the planning that goes into prepping for hospital takes time, I remember being a first time ‘nearly’ new mum and feeling that packing the hospital bag was a mission. Ensuring I had everything for the baby and for me. Something I didn’t plan for was making sure I captured all those moments leading up to my baby’s arrival. Those moments are part of the journey and part of ‘their’ story. To take the hassle out of remembering it all I have created a list of all the photos I feel are ones you will look back and love.

So in June 2021 I got to photograph my first ever set of newborn triplets. I am experienced in photographing newborn twins. Triplets was going to be a new venture for me. I remember when mum Gina first got in touch and I was so excited but also questioning my ability to handle not one or two but three precious little ones.

I feel like a Maternity photograph not only captures the beautiful body, it embraces a real special moment in that time. For me when I look back at my professional bump photographs, I see not just a changing body, I see a person, a women who at that time was full of excitement and fear, someone who has no clue of the life changing event that was inevitably going to happen.

Natural & more minimal newborn photographs are something I am getting asked more and more for. I started adding some more relaxed poses into my galleries over the last two years, and without realising it really started to love and appreciate how beautiful some of these images were becoming. In reality the more relaxed shots are often harder to achieve even more so than the ones I am trained to do.

The newborn mini session is a pint sized newborn shoot. its a one hour session, within that time I will do a variety of wrapped poses. Minimum of four. All props and accessories are included. Best suited for newborns under 4 weeks old. At just £125 its perfect for a voucher or if your only looking for a couple of newborn images.

What a year! 2018 has been a massive year for my business, this year my business is going from strength to strength. Mainly the direction its taken me has been a shock, I am shooting 90% newborns now which is amazing. Newborn Photography is a huge passion of mine and I have been blessed to meet so many little ones this year. My Mini sessions give me the opportunity to see its of old faces and I love to reconnect with clients I haven’t seen all year or sometimes longer. This year my Christmas photo-sessions sold out in 24 hours in September!
